As woman, we need a deeper understanding of how these longings impact every aspect of our lives—and why God made us this way.

God gave us eyes so that we might see; he gave us ears that we might hear; he gave us a will that we might choose; and he gave us a heart that we might live. The way we handle the heart is everything.

Captivating CORE is not a retreat about the “how to behave and become the perfect woman.” It is a four-day journey into the recovery of our feminine hearts and seeing the truth of how God sees us. For if we are going to know who we truly are as women, if we are going to find a life worth living, we must first recover what has been lost. We must get our hearts back.

We will be spending the weekend nestled in the foothills of North Georgia’s beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains at Woodlands Camp and Retreat Center. Woodlands is a 131-acre portrait of rolling hills, beautiful forests, and a spring-fed lake. It is a place where you can build lifelong friendships, develop unforgettable memories, and get to know the God who created it all. Woodlands has been partnering with ministries like ours since 1997 to provide unforgettable experiences where God’s presence is so significant that culture and its influences are drowned out.

Free time is built into the retreat on Friday and Saturday afternoons. On-site and nearby activities are available including field games, hiking, fishing, etc. You may want to bring a hammock and find a quiet spot by the lake or in the woods to rest and soak in God’s beauty. In the evenings we will have a campfire.

We know it’s nearly impossible to get away from all of the responsibilities we have. This event is best experienced off the grid, and we ask that you plan to arrive ready to unplug for the weekend. You owe it to yourself to disconnect and spend some time caring for your heart. You will not regret it!
