What is Survival School?

Tens of thousands of men have been transformed by Wild at Heart Boot Camps and locally hosted BASIC events. For many, there’s a desire to go deeper and a hunger for more. That’s precisely the heart behind this new event — Survival School — a follow-up to Wild at Heart BASIC. 

In order for you to get the most out of this weekend, it is HIGHLY recommended that you have previously attended at least one WAH Boot Camp or BASIC prior to signing up for Survival School.

We will be spending the weekend nestled in the foothills of North Georgia’s beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains at Woodlands Camp and Retreat Center. Woodlands is a 131-acre portrait of rolling hills, beautiful forests, and a spring-fed lake. It is a place where you can build lifelong friendships, develop unforgettable memories, and get to know the God who created it all. Woodlands has been partnering with ministries like ours since 1997 to provide unforgettable experiences where God’s presence is so significant that culture and its influences are drowned out.

Lodging is hotel-like with two queen beds and a bathroom. Free time is built into the retreat on Friday and Saturday afternoons. On-site and nearby activities are available including field games, hiking, fishing, etc. You may want to bring a hammock and find a quiet spot by the lake or in the woods to rest and soak in God’s beauty. In the evenings we will have a campfire.

This event is designed for men ages 18 and older. College students welcomed.
